about

This composition may be seen as a tribute to Charles Mingus's "Meditation on integration", an intense and deep masterpiece that I love.

It was immediately clear to me that somebody had to take a solo on this tune. It was obvious that Marc Jufer was THE guy. I love his sound and approach in music.

Of course, this tune can also be heard for itself, without soloist.

Chance has made that this composition is released in 2022, the centenary year of Charles Mingus's birth!

My deepest thanks go to Marc, for his music and for his advice.
I also thank the great Nya, who was kind enough to let me use one of his printworks (from a series named "Pattern of Chaos").
I thank my sister Lisa for her layout.
